The Health Management and Research Institute Assam is very soon going to launch a new project which will be introduced as ‘Health Information Directory’. From this project, the people of Assam will be benefitted to a great extend. The main objective this project is to provide the people of Assam the information regarding the various health service providers. For instance -

·         O.P.D timings of hospitals of Govt. Institutions and medical colleges,

·         Super specialist doctor contacts,

·         Disability, Rehabilitation and Mental Health institution

·         Ambulance services,

·         Blood bank contacts and locations,

·         Laboratories and diagnostic centre’s details,

·         24 hrs Pharmacy.

·         Emergency services information.

·         List of super special hospital in Assam as well as in India

·         GOVT. New health scheme in Assam

·         VHOP service route details.

                               Most of the work in this field has already been completed by Mr. Purbajyoti Borah. Under the supervision of COO of HMRI Assam Mr. Atul Singh and Head of the Operation and Administration Mrs. Sangeeta B. Bhattacharyya.                               

As we all know that due to lack of knowledge, Proper information and the most important of all i.e. proper guidance, many people are deprived from getting proper treatment. Here, are such cases, Health information Provider will play a very important role. It will play the role of a guide for such people and will help to save their valuable time for proper treatment and will also save their life.

                                This introduction will surely benefit the people of Assam in the health sector and will help HMRI to achieve a new milestone.
